Small frame with a big sound
Of Irish and Italian decent
Catholic Christian with sins to repent
Sean Edward Menegatti at birth
Named after my grandfathers from first
William John Kathleen Anne
Their third child became the plan
But every part of this basic process
Comes along with its share of crosses
Given a cross I alone can clutch
When we touch I remember it’s my crutch
This curse I bare a burden on my back
So many more colors than white and black
I have everything not aware of my needs
Possessions fill nothing cause my heart still bleeds
Spending so many hours off in my dreams
But the truth is different never as that seems
In a shimmer of light I see a glimmer of night
But as much as I try I just can’t escape
The screams of my heart never reach my lips
So I move into action but seldom see benefits
Seeking on my knees as my soul erupts
So I pray to God keep me up

The vale of nighttime descends to cover the sky
The realness of life is something I cannot deny
My words said are good but what lies in the unspoken
I hold them back cause I fear the results if I were open
Many times in my past there was a future I had to desert
And every time I look back the memories still hurt
But I tore apart my past to start brand new
With nothing built I don’t know what to do
There is a future so I should start to plan
But what happens when it comes down to I did what I can
As I stand there are things that still remain undone
Should I get up and run chasing down the sun
